Surroundings Camping Rendezvous Moto is situated in the “L'Hérault” department in the “Languedoc Roussillon” region. On the campsite we have itineraries, which guide you through the stunning countryside. The surrounding of Camping Rendezvous Moto is very diverse. Do you like water? The Mediterranean is only 45 km away and, even closer, you will find idyllic little mountain lakes and sparkling rivers. The Lac du Salagou is an artificial lake in a dramatic landscape, which has appeared in many movies. At Avène, a health resort, you will find a reservoir, fed by the Orb.

Most of the villages are medieval and each has an own character. Lunas has its own chateau, with a statue of the Virgin Mary watching over the village. Joncels is a medieval village with a beautiful abbey, surrounded by a wall.

High in the fabulous hills, with red ferrous rocks are Dio et Valquières. Nearby is the Cirque de Mourèze, where bizarre rock formations add a special quality to the surroundings.

Many bikers like to ride tortuous roads. Well, then Camping Rendezvous Moto is the best place to be! For example you can ride to the Cirque de Navacelles, the Gorges de L'Herault or even go to Andorra in the Pyrenees.

Sophisticated shopping is possible in the big cities, Béziers and
Montpellier.
Béziers has a beautiful old centre with an impressive cathedral. Montpellier’s centre is old (Roman in parts) and surrounded by new architecture. It is a university city. In both towns you will find very modern shops with a real South -French Midi atmosphere. One of your trips could take you to the caves of Roquefort, where they fabricate the famous cheese. The green Aveyron will surprise you with the beautiful landscape.
Other sportive activities are also possible in the surrounding of Camping Rendezvous Moto! Bungee jumping you can do at La Tour sur Orb. Canoeing on the river the Orb is available at Roquebrun. Horse riding, mountain biking or hiking are all easy to find. Leaflets giving details of these activities are available on the campsite.
